Google+ and Google Docs:
Google + allows for synchronous meetings outside of the school environment between group members. The group can also use Google+ to communicate with experts around the world. This will encourage students to reach beyond the classroom for answers to questions as they investigate, collect and apply resources while creating their own variation and interpretation of Romeo and Juliet. Google Docs are a series of collaborative tools to create documents for sharing via link on the Edmodo platform. Students will be able to record their synchronous meetings and share via link to our Edmodo page.
YouTube:
Students will create their video projects in their respective assignment areas and post links to the videos in their blogs and on the class Edmodo page. Students can also share the links via Twitter as directed in the respective assignments using the class hashtag #bardtwists. Educators will be able to monitor shares on the Edmodo page and through Tweetdeck as applicable.
Diigo:
We have established a Diigo Group Bard Twists. Students can share their resources on Diigo by posting on our Diigo group page. Students will be invited to join our group and one of the educators will approve their ability to join as the creation of a public group is not permitted on our account. They will share evidence through screenshots or links on the Edmodo class page.
Weebly Blog Page:
We have dedicated our last page of this site to serve as a class blog for the students to share their own reflections of their journey. For those students with Wordpress, or other blogs, they will be able to post a link to their reflection on the Weebly blog page and on the Edmodo class page.
